Step forward into right stance Step backwards into right stance Attacker lunges forward and punches right tobikomi jodan. Defender moves his body back and obliquely, he twists his body to avoid the punch and performs a right nagashi sotouke jodan. Attacker then performs a left gyakuzuki chudan to the defenders body. Defender then rotates the body 180 degrees, performs a nagashi chudan barai with the right hand and strikes nakadaka ipponken with the left hand to the attackers solar plexus and kiai |

Defender move his body back and obliquely, he twists his body to avoid the punch and performs a right nagashi sotouke jodan. The attacker then adjusts his distance and attacks the defender okutte sokuto chudan. The defender steps back with the right foot into a gyakunekoashi stance, the knees come together to protect the groin, the body twists left and blocks right gedan barai. The defender then steps in with the right foot behind the attackers right front foot. The defender twists his body and strikes right haito to the kidneys and uses the left hand to push up the rib cage to give access to the strike. |

The defender pulls back on blocks, nagashi shuto uchi jodan with the left hand. This technique guides the punch away from the face towards the right side of the attackers face. The defender then steps in with his right foot and strikes ipponken with his right hand striking under the armpit aiming for the lymph node. The defender then grips the attacker right wrist with his right hand closing the lock. The right elbow comes under the attacker left elbow and applies pressure to bring them off balance. The defender then steps around with his left foot applying the lock and taking the attacker to the floor. Once on the floor the defender applies pressure with his right knee to the left elbow and strikes shutozuki with the right hand to the bridge of the attackers nose and kiai |

Then defender leans back and blocks right jodan uke over extending with the movement. The defender then strike downward with his right hand to the attackers groin. The defender then continues the attack by strike reinforced empi with the right elbow and kiai. The defender then rotates both hands round as in a praying movement locking the attacker left hand. The defender also pushes the right knee in the opposite direction of the hand twisting the attackers body on an off ward angle |
